Your Golf House WOF Service CentreJust like a car! Your clubs need to be checked each year to ensure they are in tip top condition ready for play. Take your grips for example: Grips are often overlooked by golfers as just a bit of rubber to hang on to, yet they are the only part of the club that we are connected to allowing us any control. Sounds like a set of tires! Just like your car tires, rubber perishes and we recommend changing your grips annually as most grips on the market last approx 50 rounds. At the same time we can measure your hand size to match with your grip! Why? The grip is the only contact you have with the club and to ensure you are comfortable from the time you set up over the ball to the stylish finish of your swing. Another example of FREE W.O.F inspection is your SWING SPEED so we can prescribe correct shaft options. It is important to remember that your shaft is the ENGINE of your club. And LOFT & LIE (irons) to ensure that your club head angle fits your set up address so to maximize the club face area! There is no upside in hitting the ball with half a club head. For best results try and maximize the grooves on your irons to create spin. So for a better game come into TGH and take advantage of your free Golf Club W.O.F inspections: Booking are essential. The team at TGH never say no to even the smallest repair job. Following is a general listing of golf club repairs that we complete: Adjust swing weights. Golf Club RegrippingRegripping for a single club or a full set is available. Proper grip size does matter and it is important for you to have your grip size measured. Often clubs purchased off the rack come with grips that may not fit your handsize. The wrong size grips could cause incorrect shot patterns. Worn out grips also affect your shot, distance and control. Have your grip size measured, check out the newest grips on the market and choose from a variety of Golf Pride, Lamkin or Winn grips. Reshafting Your Golf ClubsReshafting for a single club or a full set is available. Discounts available on full sets (minimum 8 irons). Have your swing speed tested and discuss your swing tendencies and learn about the newest shafts on the market from the club repair tech. Choose from a variety of steel or graphite shafts from such manufacturers as True Temper, UST, Graffaloy and others. When getting frustrated with some of your shots, it may not be the clubhead but simply a shaft that fits your swing characteristics that may help you out. Loft & Lie AdjustmentsDo you want to hit straighter shots? Does your ball flight tend to go left or right of the target? Do your divots look heavy to one side or the other? Do the ball marks on the clubface lean towards the heel or toe of the club? Simple loft and lie adjustments can correct all of these errors. All loft and lie changes on irons or putters are completed using Mitchell Loft & Lie equipment. A Complete Golf Club AnalysisDo all your irons and Woods perform the same? Do you need a spec analysis on your clubs? Choose from loft & lie and swing weight analysis. The Golf House repair tech will go over the results with you. This information could help you determine why you just might like your 7 iron better than your 5 iron! The club repair tech recommends that once a season (preferably at the start of the season) you have at least your loft & lies checked. |
